Congratulations to @sundogrunning athlete Tobias Sorenson (pictured on right) on his 50 mile best at Enkle 50 Mile in Sweden!

“I had a great time running the GotRun “Enkle” 50 miler on the Swedish island of Gotland. We’d discussed potentially using a run/walk strategy but I ended up running the entire race by feel. Very early on I found another guy to run with. We were not quite sure how long it’d last, but we ended up crossing the finish line together in 8:36! A 20 minute PR for the distance! I was just 1-2 minutes off my 50k PR from 9 years ago. I keep saying it, but I feel like running is such a cool sport when it’s possible for me to keep getting faster even though I’m getting older!

The course was really varied. Paved roads, lots of double track, single track, no trail at all, and beach running! Some forested areas with pine trees that actually really reminded me of Flagstaff, some hard harsh moors, lime stone cliffs and sandy beaches.”

Led by Coach @feet2feat, and with further insight from Coach @sweeney_runsr2t and past Cocodona finishers (thank you, Nicole and Aly!) the depth and breadth of topics and knowledge shared has been amazing!

So far, we’ve covered training, nutrition and hydration, pacing and sleep strategies, and gear selection. Plus everything in between!
