Strength Coaching

International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) certified personal trainer and coach Emily Torrence develops the Sundog Running strength programs. The training package includes coach-athlete check-ins and run-specific strength work tailored to individual needs and goals. These objectives might include, injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, and increased power, agility, speed, and efficiency on and/or off the roads. Plans are designed with consideration for an athlete’s available time and equipment. Programs adjust for variety, specificity, and challenge every 4-8 weeks based on an athlete’s progress and feedback. Exercise demonstration videos from HYPO2’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Dr. AJ Gregg, are included.
