So, why Sundog Running? In its literal sense, a sundog is an atmospheric phenomenon where a reflection of the Sun is framed to its right and left - a refraction of its own light created by ice crystals. In its figurative sense, this occurrence symbolizes that you’re not alone in your endeavors. You stand front and center, yet you are surrounded by those who care and support you. We don’t achieve our greatest goals alone or by chance. We do so through hard work, proper direction, dedication and grit – a true phenomenon of human spirit.
